It's the marriage of a text editor and an audio/video editor. That means that anyone (even your Great Aunt Sally) can search, edit and correct their video & audio files as they would in a text editor. And better yet, they can export and share the finished Trints - all from the Trint editor.

A Veteran journalist, Jeff inspired the original vision of Trint and is an Emmy-winning foreign & war correspondent with ABC, CBS and CBC News. Jeff knows manual transcription too well: he has transcribed thousands of interviews.

Mark Boas

CTO & Co-Founder

With an M.Sc. in Knowledge Based Systems, Mark developed the original technology Trint is built on. Mark is a Knight-Mozilla OpenNews Fellow, and he founded several successful start ups including Happyworm, hyperaud.io and jPlayer.org.

Dan Schultz

Advisor & Co-Founder

With an MS from MIT Media Lab, Dan is a Knight News Challenge winner and Knight-Mozilla OpenNews fellow. He is currently applying his experience as an innovator of emerging technologies at The Internet Archive.

Laurian Gridinoc

Full Stack Developer

With an MBBS BSc Medicine and an MSc in Computational Linguistics, Laurian has a deep understanding of web architecture. He is a Knight-Mozilla fellow and has worked for major media brands including the BBC and Al Jazeera.
